ALAN TEPPER's liner notes for Witchflower

Up from the purple skies came an album, that shook the foundations of the music-scene. It appealed both to listeners of psychedelic as well as those of progressive sounds - and even the Seventies Rock-fans were delighted. How did the band manage to record such an album? Why is it so good? The answer is passion and honesty! Listening to their songs, you experience something which is very rare nowadays. It’s the fact, that these musicians are truthful to themselves and to their audience. There is never the slightest attempt of ingratiation. They do what they like, and they like what they are doing. It is a perfect example of an ideal attitude towards the arts. With their new release, Wicked Minds develop their style and take it one step further. It has the same magic as picking a witchflower, in that it will carry you off into another dimension. Feelings will be evoked, that have been long forgotten. Kaleidoscopic sounds and a variety of different atmospheres makes their music so colourful. They master their instruments effortlessly and are able to combine that skill with a tasteful sense for good songs. Wow! That’s breathtaking! This is a record which will remain on your turntable for ages. I really love this album and I hope that you will derive an equal amount of joy from listening to this masterpiece.
